If Conditional Type zero

Gambar
Hello im Frizt Reynara and i will explain about if conditional type zero. The Zero Conditional We can make a zero conditional sentence with two simple present verbs (one in the 'if clause' and one in the 'main clause'): If + present simple, .... present simple. This conditional is used when the result will always happen. So, if water reaches 100 degrees, it always boils. It's a fact. I'm talking in general, not about one particular situation. The result of the 'if clause' is always the main clause. The 'if' in this conditional can usually be replaced by 'when' without changing the meaning. For example: If water reaches 100 degrees, it boils . (It is always true, there can't be a different result sometimes). If I eat peanuts, I am sick. (This is true only for me, maybe, not for everyone, but it's still true that I'm sick every time I eat peanuts) Here are some more examples: If people eat too much, they get fa...

First Type If Conditional

Gambar
Hello everyone, my name is Frizt Reynara. I will explain about type of conditional. You can use the the first conditional to talk about predictions, superstitions, future plans, warnings & threats, and offers & suggestions. These are things that are real, so this conditional is also called the future real conditional. A quick review: There are two parts to a conditional sentence. There is an if-clause (also called the conditional-clause) and a main-clause or result-clause . The if-clause contains the condition (the event or situation that must happen first), and the main-clause , which is the result. The two events are connected. One event or situation is a condition for another event or situation. The First Conditional Structure Take a look at this situation: If I’m late tonight This is the condition or the possible event, but this is not a complete sentence. There is some information missing. What will happen if I’m late tonight ? We need another clause to exp...

Passive voice

Hello my name is Frizt Reynara, and I will explain about Passive voice Passive Voice Functions of the passive voice The passive voice is used to show interest in the person or object that experiences an action rather than the person or object that performs the action. In other words, the most important thing or person becomes the subject of the sentence. Examples The passive voice is used frequently. (= we are interested in the passive voice, not in who uses it.) The house was built in 1654. (= we are interested in the house, not in who built it.) The road is being repaired . (= we are interested in the road, not in the people who are doing the repairs.) Sometimes we use the passive voice because we don't know or do not want to express who performed the action. Examples I noticed that a window had been left open. Every year thousands of people are killed on our roads. All the cookies have been eaten . My car has been stolen !   The passive voice is often us...
