Opinion and Thought

Hello everyone, I'm Frizt Reynara. I want to share material about opinion and thought.
In English, opinion and thoughts are rather different in their definition. Opinion is basically a statement about what you have in mind about something, either agree or disagree, pro or con and so on. Thoughts are actually ideas or what you think about something. It can be an opinion, solution, critics etc.

Saying opinion:

    In my opinion,...
    I think...
    I believe...
    I'd say....
    I agree with that
    I disagree with that

Giving thought    I have an idea...
    I think ...
    I suppose such is a good idea
    I have to say such is mistaken
    it should be...
    it should have been...


Agreeing or disagreeing with an opinion

Agreeing	Disagreeing
Of course	I am sorry, I don’t agree with you
This is absolutely right	I am not sure I agree with you
I agree with this opinion	I don’t agree with you
I couldn’t agree more	I am afraid I have to disagree with you
I agree, I never thought of that	I do not believe that
Neither do I	By this mean
That’s a good point	I disagree with you
I think so too	I think you are wrong
I agree with what you’re saying but have you ever..	That’s not the same thing at all
	It is not justified to say so
	I am not convinced that ...
	I can’t say I agree with this, and here’s why

Example :

Opinion : Smoking should be bannned in public places
Agree : I totally agree that smoking should be banned in public places
Disagree : I am sorry but I tend to disagree with you on this 

Opinion : Bullying is so prevalent in most schools
Agree :I couldn’t agree more with you
Disagree : I think it would be wrong to generalize

Opinion : Women should not work
Agree : I think so too. Women should stay at home and take care of their children
Disagree : I am afraid I have todissagree with you on this

Opinion : Harry Porter series is much better than Twilight series
Agree : Yes. I agree. Harry Porter series has much better and
Disagree : It’s not justified to say because both have different plots

Opinion : Online gaming should be banned      
Agree : Absolutely right. It should be as it distracts students from studying.    
Disagree : I don’t agree with you. T is a venue for students to develop their skills 

Example dialogue :

A: Some people say this pandemic is a conspiracy. What do you think?

B: in my opinion, COVID 19 is very true pandemic, because many people died of COVID 19

A: I think COVID 19 made by elites because the economy of all country will be reset

B: its possible, we dont know what they are doing behind this pandemic

A: do you know that the selling vaccine of COVID 19? What do you think?

B: I know, I think they are very evil for many people because they made a vaccine and they sell it with a high price.

A: what do you think about rapid tests?

B: I think I am not sure about the rapid test. Swab test is better than a rapid test

A: okay, see you tomorrow
