For example :

• an invitation to a wedding

Social Function :

Inviting people to formal and social events

Informal Invitation :

is an invitation containing an informal event.
For example :

• An invitation to a birthday party

• An invitation to lunch time

Social Function :

Inviting people to informal and casual events

Example dialogue :
